How do I create an event?
After signing in to your admin dashboard, click "Create Event" and fill in the event name, date, and optional description. Your event will be ready for guests to start uploading selfies immediately. You can customise settings such as moderation mode and slideshow preferences from the event settings page.
How do guests upload their photos?
Each event has a unique URL and QR code that guests can use to access the upload page. Guests simply visit the link on their phone, take or select a photo, and submit it. No app download or account creation is required. You can also use the /snap URL for a reusable QR code that always points to your current event.
How does photo moderation work?
You can choose between automatic approval or manual moderation for each event. With manual moderation, uploaded photos appear in your moderation queue where you can approve or reject them before they appear on the slideshow. This gives you full control over what is displayed at your event.
What is AI-powered moderation?
Our AI moderation system automatically scans uploaded images for inappropriate or unsafe content. Flagged images are held for your manual review rather than being displayed immediately. This provides an extra layer of protection, especially useful for large events where manual review of every photo is impractical.
Can I display the slideshow on an external screen?
Yes. Each event has a dedicated slideshow URL that you can open in any web browser. Simply connect a laptop, tablet, or smart TV to your display and open the slideshow link in full-screen mode. The slideshow updates in real time as new photos are approved, making it perfect for projectors, TVs, and large displays at your venue.
What subscription plans are available?
We offer three plans: Basic (free, with limits of 100 selfies per event and up to 3 events), Standard at $29/month (unlimited selfies and events with custom branding), and Enterprise at $99/month (includes white-label options, API access, and dedicated support). Can I use a Raspberry Pi for kiosk mode?
Absolutely. The slideshow and upload pages are lightweight web pages that work well on Raspberry Pi devices running Chromium in kiosk mode. This is a popular and cost-effective setup for permanent or semi-permanent selfie stations. Use the /current URL so the display automatically switches to whichever event you mark as current.
